Pricing

Pricing Philosophy.

Pricing
Kaeso is designed as an OAuth hub for AI agent integrations.
Its purpose is simple: connect services once and allow AI agents to securely access them through a unified interface. Instead of every developer building their own OAuth flows, token storage, refresh logic, and permission systems, Kaeso provides a centralized infrastructure layer.
Because of this role, the platform should be accessible to developers and builders without creating financial friction.

Free for Users

Individual users will not be charged for using Kaeso.
The platform is meant to simplify integrations and enable experimentation. Charging users for connecting their services would work against that goal. People should be able to connect their tools and explore what AI agents can do without worrying about costs.
This will remain the case for the entire first year after launch. In reality, I expect this policy to continue even longer.

Developer Friendly Pricing (Only If Necessary)

The only situation where pricing might become necessary is infrastructure cost.
Running an OAuth infrastructure for AI agents involves servers, secure token storage, request processing, and potentially large volumes of API traffic generated by agents.
If infrastructure costs grow beyond what I can sustain personally, Kaeso may introduce very generous pricing specifically for developers who use extremely high volumes of API requests.
Even in that case, a free tier will always exist so that smaller projects and experimentation remain possible.

Donations

To help keep the platform accessible, people who want to support the project can donate. Donations help cover infrastructure costs and allow Kaeso to stay open and developer friendly.

The Goal

Kaeso is infrastructure.
Infrastructure should be reliable, simple, and fair to use. The intention is to make connecting services for AI agents easier, not more expensive.
